Editing Stock Images in Your Email Campaigns

Stock images are licensed for use under specific terms, which typically do not allow for modification—including adding logos, text overlays, filters, or any other edits. This is to protect the rights of the original creator and avoid copyright infringement.

What Are My Options If I Want to Customize a Stock Image?

You have two options if you'd like to make edits or add your branding:

1. Purchase the Image License

If you’d like to edit a stock image (e.g., add your logo, overlay text, change colors), you’ll need to purchase the image directly.

Just reach out to us at support@truevail.com, and we’ll guide you through the process.

2. Use a Canva Template

Want to add branding or a title image to your post? You can use one of our Canva Cover Image templates to create an image that appears at the beginning of your post. This allows you to add your logo, include your brand colors or overlay text or headlines, all without editing any of the licensed stock images themselves.

This video demonstrates how to use Canva to create a cover image.
