Add Bulk contacts to your CRM: Constant Contact or Mailchimp (with video)

Learn how to create and manage your contact list in your Truevail CRM. Add bulk contacts from Constant Contact or Mailchimp and update specific details for individual contacts, or select multiple contacts and update factors collectively.

Note

The video shows how to import contacts from an Excel Spreadsheet. Follow the same steps and select Add a Source from the Choose Contact Source window instead of Excel or CSV file and select either Constant Contact or Mailchimp

If you need additional support, send us a message at Support@Truevail.com and we’ll be happy to help

1. Click the Contacts icon on the left-hand side of the screen

2. Click the plus sign + in the top right hand corner of the contacts page

3. Select + Add a Source from the Choose Contact Source window

4. Select either Mailchimp or Constant Contact

5. Read the Terms and Conditions and click the I Agree blue button

6. Log in to your Mailchimp or Constant Contact account to connect your account with Truevail

7. Select the list or segment you wish to import from your account

Important

Make sure the fields in your source list (e.g., Name, Email, Phone Number) are labeled properly. The system will attempt to map these to the appropriate contact fields

8. Truevail will map the data from your source to the CRM fields. Review the mappings and make adjustments if necessary (watch the video tutorial from 2:00 minutes to learn more)

9. Select EMAIL in the CONSENT section in the Configure Import pop-up window to confirm your contacts have given consent to be contacted

10. Click in the Choose Lists tab in the LISTS section

11. Tick any relevant lists you want the contacts to be added to and click Next in the top right corner

12. Check the details in the Review Import window and click Next in the top right corner

13. Click Finish to complete the process. Your bulk contacts will now be added to your Truevail CRM

Tips

Individual contacts can now be edited from the contact list, or multiple contacts can be selected to update factors collectively (e.g. Consent, Lists, Tags or to Delete)
